I explained the issue to Don and he directed me to a local Autozone who connected a code reader to my truck. The problem turned out to be an inexpensive gas cap (the old one was no longer sealing the system) and after 50 miles the lights turned off as Don explained they would. Thank once again to Placentia Super Service for being helpful even when this time, there was nothing in it for you!! Mike Meehan

This shop is great! Upfront, honest and reliable with great customer service. We live 3 hours away, and my husband works irregular hours, but they did everything they could to get his pickup done in a reasonable time and gave options for getting it picked up. Bob and his team are amazing, top notch, honest people!! They are true experts in this field and I never felt pressured to get something fix that was not needed. They even took the time do an entire health/report card on my car with video documentation. I have never seen that before from any other mechanic shop. This team is honest, experienced, and very reasonably priced considering all that they provide and all the work they put into your cars. I would totally recommend Placentia Super Service to everyone and do!!

Highly Recommended! I am thankful to have found and Honest, kind auto repair shop. I had an estimate of work for a belt from a shop in Norco that said they could do this job for only $250.00. We brought the car to Placentia Super Service and they charged a fraction of that. I went in about 2 weeks ago. I felt jerks in my car all the time for months and took it to a few places that pretty much made me feel like I was crazy. I came here because I am new to the area and my friend recommended it to me. It was an amazing experience! They figured out what was wrong, gave me a reasonable price, plus they gave me the price BEFORE doing anything! My car has been running great since then. I will definitely come back for all of my car needs. Also, they send texts and such to get in touch with you which is very helpful! Finding a good mechanic is hard and I'm so glad I found one by my new home!

I am writing this review to retract the 1 star review i posted on 11/27/18. I was very quick to only post what i felt at the time, which after 24 hours, i now know was caused by my having major issues with my car, having to take a day off without pay, and personal issues that made it necessary to find a new mechanic i shouldnt have taken it out in my review. And i want to say after 24 hours and after speaking with Bob, one of the owners, today, i was completely wrong in my previous post. I want to thank Bob and also apologize to Don because as it turns out, they are both stand up guys and i will be happy to bring my car there anytime. Today was a very positive experience and i was made to feel like my business matters but most importantly i see that when i chose to call them i chose right. Again, i had a bad day yesterday all around but Placentia Super Service handled my needs in a professional way and i am grateful to have them in the future for all my automotive needs. Thank you Bob for being a great guy and i look forward to future business. And Don, i hope you accept my apology.

I took my car here for the 1st time on a referral from Carmax. I was very impressed with the shop the staff and the work they did to my truck. These guys are honest and the real deal. Especially in an industry where there are a lot of scam artist. Not these guys they are thorough and explain everything to you. My new shop.
