There is no lie when someone says these guys are top notch. My truck was suffering from an electrical issue that after hours of digging into I just couldn't figure out. I normally do all my own maintenance and repair work to my vehicles, but this issue had me puzzled. After doing a grip of research on local mechanic shops, Placentia Super Service won my attention due to the good reviews I read on yelp/google. I gave a call and spoke with Ryan. He told me to bring it in and they would jump on it immediately. Upon arriving, I was greeted by Ryan and Bob. Two of the friendliest guys you will ever meet. They took all my info, verified my truck issues, and even introduced me to the head mechanic AJ, who would be handling my repair. Within a couple days I got the call that AJ found the problem, and gave me a quote on the cost for parts/labor in regards to the repair. I went through with having them handle it, and it was done the next day! Since then my truck has been on point and problem free. Their work/parts come with a 3 year guarantee. Ryan and Bob are both great guys working the front and truly care about their customers. The mechanics all seem to enjoy their jobs and are focused on providing quality repair shop services while being efficient with time. For anyone seeking maintenance or repair services from a shop, this is the place to go!.. The candy/popcorn in the lobby makes for an excellent treat.
I recently met Bob at a Placenita Chamber of Commerce event. Since that time I have needed repair to my Ford Flex and Mini Cooper. The team at Placentia Super Service did a superb job of fixing the vehicles and their customer service is INCREDIBLE. I even get coffee and popcorn. It doesn't get any better than this.
HOSPITALITY/CUSTOMER SERVICE is PRIORITY. I love it. These men here are professional and personable. Lets just start in the beginning. On friday the 13th, my car, in Jack In The Box drive thru, started smoking. It wasnt on fire, just smoke. No black or grey, it was white smoke. So I assumed it was steam. Yet I still freaked out. Stopped the car, took my purse, and got out. The manager of JIB was nice enough to let me park my car in their parking lot while I was at work. (How did I get to work...well, I work less than a block from JIB. So had to resort to my first transportation...my feet.) After I was done with work, I resorted to Yelp to find a mechanic. I first found one that was catty corner to JIB and that maybe i can do a small drive across the way. It was late in the day, they said I couldnt bring it. Suckie poo. (Sorry that's the inner 4yo child in me....espcially I am a mom and thats what I hear everyday.) Then I came across PSS. They have great reviews and read a few. So decided to call them up to see if they can take a look at my car. They said Yep just as long as I get it towed in before closing time. Perfect! This place is right behind my work. Not far at all. So, got it towed in, two of the guys took a look, brought me back, and said *This is what happened....* Im like, oh no. My friend just fixed that last year. How can it break in one year? So the main man, Bob, he told me had to leave the car overnight since it was late in the day and they can get a better diagnosis in the morning. Im like ok. And what was so cool and sweet, Bob drove me back to my work. Thanks Bob. Now it is Saturday. I get a text and call from them around noon that my car is ready to be picked up. Yayyy. So came in with my boyfriend and Bob explained and showed us the part that was broken. The thermostat pipe literally broke in half. That's the reason for no coolant and a bunch of steam. The job on the car wasn't cheap nor tooooo pricey, but worth the pennies spent. My car is running great. Cool air came in like a breeze and warm air (now that it is getting cooler in the morning) comes out faster than before. Do you want honest mechanics? YESS! So PSS is highly recommended. BTW, they offer 3mos same as cash financing, that's if you are strapped for cash. If your car needs more than one days work, they offer rental cars (no loaners). If you are hungry or parched, they have a popcorn (self serve) machine and a mini fridge of drinks in the waiting room. Don't forget to call the guys Matthew Perry, Lawrence Fishburne, and Michael Chiklis. (I think these actors are their heros...lol).
I took my car in for an oil change and to have them check on an oil leak - Cheapest oil change I’ve ever received and the best customer service I’ve ever received as well. I would highly recommend them for any type of service, their customer service alone was worth a visit.

Had to get my engine checked I didn't have an appointment and they got me in the door had problem that my engine shook violently they took good care of my car and reassured me that I was in good hands. This was the first time I had gotten my Mazda Mx6 1995 checked by professional help they diagnosed my car and they found the problem and had me verify that I wanted the part fixed because I was a lot of money but it was worth my money spent definetly recommend to all my friends that have their first car diagnosed!!
